North Wildwood Awarded $10.3 Million in Boardwalk Preservation Fund Grant
On Friday, February 23, North Wildwood officials learned that the City will be awarded a $10.3 million grant for Boardwalk Reconstruction. The grant is part of the $100 million Boardwalk Preservation Fund that was established by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and State Legislators, including Senator Michael Testa and Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald.

On January 31, 2024, the City of North Wildwood received a letter from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Division of Land Resource Protection (DLRP) Assistant Director Colleen Keller, stating the City’s EA request to construct a bulkhead between the midpoint between 12th-13th Aves. – 15th Ave. is denied.
