The North Wildwood Office of Emergency Management has set up a special Web site for residents to access essential information about what to do when an emergency situation threatens.

Actually there are three related sites. First, the new one, http://ready.northwildwood.com, is where you’ll find basic info and a plethora of links to other specific information. There are links to weather sites and sites that contain a hurricane survival guide, local evacuation routes, etc.

The site https://northwildwood.com/public-safety/north-wildwood-office-of-emergency-management/ outlines the North Wildwood OEM operating procedures: how information will be posted to Northwildwood.com and announced on North Wildwood’s 1640 AM Traveler’s Information Station.

The latest emergency information will always be on the center of the home page at www.northwildwood.com.
However, if we lose power and can’t connect to Internet, you’ll want to have printed out the basics.

Don’t wait till serious weather looms; visit these sites and familiarize yourself with the sources of current information regarding evacuations, sheltering, flooding, etc.
