North Wildwood’s new contractor, Gold Medal Environmental (previously Blue Diamond Disposal), has seen the need to increase their service now that the summer months have begun.
As happens every June with the seasonal influx of summer visitors, the amount of trash and recyclables to be collected naturally increases. To handle the increase, and to ensure that our community looks its best, there will be an additional collection crew on the North Wildwood team on Mondays. This truck and crew will be collecting trash and recyclables on the regular Monday route beginning at 7 a.m. This will enable the company to finish servicing the entire area and get the trash off of the streets earlier in the day.
So we ask residents in Anglesea to be sure their trash and recyclable cans are set out by 7 a.m. Monday morning or after 5 p.m. Sunday evening.
