NORTH WILDWOOD–On Saturday, May 24, 2014 in the afternoon, two women vacationing in North Wildwood for Memorial Day Weekend turned  in a large sum of money they found to police.

The two good Samaritans, Sarah Robertson from Philadelphia and Kelly Somers from Hockessin, DE, found $2,000 cash on the 2500 block of the boardwalk in front of an arcade.

The women promptly reported their find to North Wildwood Police officers who were assigned to the boardwalk for the busy holiday weekend and turned the money over to them.

A short time later, officers were able to reunite the money with the person that originally had lost it.

Robertson and Somers are to be commended for their honesty for doing the right thing, turning over this found money.
