James “Jimmer” Kane, is serving as a North Wildwood City Councilman (5/1/12–Present), and is eager to represent the residents of North Wildwood.  Jimmer, a life long resident, has lived in the city of North Wildwood for over 40 years.  Jimmer attended Margaret Mace Elementary School and graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School in 1986.  He understands the importance of maintaining a balance between the year round residents and the seasonal visitors who enjoy visiting our wonderful community each summer.  He has spent his adult life working in the hospitality industry both at his parent’s night club Red Garter/Jimmy’s and more recently at Russo’s Market.  Jimmer is married with two children and is thrilled that his children have the opportunity to grow up in the same community as he did and is even more thankful that he will now play a part in maintaining the quality of life for the residents of the City of North Wildwood.  Jimmer is a member of Notre Dame de la Mer Parish, a Third Degree Knight of Columbus Council #2572, and has served on the Republican Committee for the past several years.

He serves on City Council Public Works Committee 2012-Present, and City Council Finance Committee 2014-Present.
