FALL IRISH FESTIVAL BEGINS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2014

North Wildwood, NJ – The largest Irish festival on the East Coast begins on Thursday, September 18 and concludes on Sunday, September 21, 2014. This festive four day event is sponsored by James J. Reilly, Division 1, Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH). The AOH is an organization which foster and preserves Irish culture & heritage; so kiss your blarney stones for good luck and come out to join us for a worthwhile event in the City of North Wildwood!

Bus service will be available throughout the event dates. Other festivities include a golf tournament, concerts, Irish dance lessons, 5K run, 1 mile walk, pipe exhibition, and a Catholic mass on Sunday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in the Notre Dame de la Mer Parish, Glenwood and Atlantic Avenues. The events will conclude with a parade on Surf Avenue from 20th to Spruce and Olde New Jersey Avenues, North Wildwood.

The North Wildwood Police Department would like to remind guests attending the Irish Fall Festival of the following restrictions;

— Backpacks and coolers are not permitted inside the festival area 

— Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages into the festival site

— Open display of alcoholic beverages outside the festival area is prohibited

— Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted on the buses and trolleys
