CITY OF NORTH WILDWOOD HOSTS 9-11 CEREMONY FOR LIVES LOST DURING TERRORIST ATTACKS

North Wildwood, NJ – On September 11, 2014, 8:40 a.m., North Wildwood residents at 15th Street Volunteer Fire Company remembered the 2977 lives lost from the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Various community and religious leaders including Mayor Patrick Rosenello, Council President Salvatore Zampirri, Councilmen Joseph Rullo, David DelConte, Edwin Koehler, James Kane, State Senator Jeff Van Drew, Father Wallace, and State Assemblymen Sam Fiocchi & Bob Andrzejczak were all of attendance for the Patriots Day ceremony.

Also participating in the ceremony were member of our Local VFW Post 5941, Emerald Society Honor Guard, Captain Kevin Tolan on bag pipes, and schoolchildren from Cape Trinity Catholic, Wildwood Catholic and Margaret Mace School. The Margaret Mace 5th Grade Class and Cape Trinity Catholic 8th grade class did a wonderful rendition of Proud to be an American, followed by a beautiful performance of God Bless America performed by Maecy Bischoff & Fred Speiwak.

North Wildwood’s 2014 9/11 Memorial Service drew a very large crowd, truly leaving all attendees inspired and proud to be an American.
