As we head into the holiday weekend, we would like to provide an update on where beach-goers may be able to access the North Wildwood beaches.
On the Inlet beach, all access ways will be accessible.
On the front beach, beach access from 3rd-5th Avenues will remain inaccessible due to tide conditions. All beach accesses south of 5th Avenue, starting at 6th Avenue, will be open and accessible from the bike path/boardwalk to the beach. We are completing final preparations for the 13th-15th Ave. beach access ways and will have them open in time for the weekend.
The tide cycles this weekend may make portions of the beach smaller than in past years. When deciding when to go to the beach, you should keep this in mind when planning your trip accordingly. Expected daytime high tides for this weekend are as follows:

Fri. 5/26 -1:44pm

Sat. 5/27 – 2:32pm

Sun. 5/28 – 3:20pm

Mon. 5/29 – 4:10pm

If you choose to swim in the ocean, the North Wildwood Beach Patrol strongly advises all bathers to swim at lifeguard-protected beaches only during the hours of operation. Lifeguards will be protecting the beach Saturday, May 28-Monday, May 30 from 10 am to 5:30 pm. Lifeguards will be stationed at the following locations:

1st and Surf, 2nd and Ocean, 4th (Surfing Beach), 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 22nd, 24th, and 25th Avenues

The Beach Patrol will begin daily protection starting Saturday, June 10th, 2023 (10am-5:30pm, weather permitting) through Labor Day.

Beach Surf Chairs are available at 2nd and JFK, 6th, 15th, and 22nd.
