The City of North Wildwood has installed new kayak storage frames at the 5th St. Boat Ramp, at 5th Avenue on the bay. If you’d like to take advantage of this convenient option, you must fill out a permit at the Rec Center, 9th and Central avenues. Come in during office hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, or call 609-522-2955 for an appointment. Permits are $45 per month or $100 for the season (April 1 to Oct. 30).
Permits will be available beginning June 28, 2013.
Individuals who reserve a space are responsible for chaining/locking their kayaks to the frame, and must provide their own chains and locks.
There are 2 frames and each holds 7 kayaks, so it’s first come first served!
