North Wildwood – After a one year hiatus, the “Miss North Wildwood” event will be returning in June 2024. This year will be the 26th edition of Miss North Wildwood, organized by a committee of former Miss North Wildwood’s, including Sheena Lakjer and Suzanne Szambelak Adams.
The Miss North Wildwood event begins Tuesday, June 18 at 11am, with interviews and a luncheon taking place at the Swine Bar (2nd Floor of the Surfing Pig, 10th & Delaware Aves.). The next day, Wednesday, June 19 at 6:30pm, Miss North Wildwood will be crowned during a public ceremony at the Lou Booth Amphitheater, 2nd and Ocean Aves.

Prizes for the winner of Miss North Wildwood includes a monetary prize, trophy, crown and sash, and will be featured in City events throughout the year, such as our St. Patrick’s Day and 4th of July Parades, Christmas tree lighting ceremony, and more.

It’s a wonderful experience for the women who participate, to gain confidence and self-awareness while interviewing with the Judges and making life-long friendships”, stated committee member and Miss North Wildwood 2004, Sheena Lakjer (nee. Gonnam). “It is a great opportunity to represent North Wildwood and being a positive role model. Miss North Wildwood competition has been in existence for over 25 years and we hope it continues as the years go on.”
The current owner of the Miss North Wildwood crown is Ms. Julia Brown, who was our 2022 winner.
