On Wednesday morning, June 19, the brand new WaWa on the corner of Spruce and Maryland avenues hosted their long-awaited grand opening.

In attendance were: North Wildwood Mayor Bill Henfey, Council President Patrick Rosenello, Council members Peg Bishop and Kelly Tolomeo, along with WaWa executives.

District Manager Michael Dwyer, and Vice President of Store Operations Sal Matterra, presented a $500 donation to North Wildwood VFW Post 5941 and a $2500 donation to The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse.

Edward Kaczmarski, Communications Director for the NJ First Legislative District (Senator Jeff Van Drew and Assemblymen Nelson Albano and Bob Andrzejczak), presented a Proclamation of Congratulations to Michael Dwyer.

Store Manager Hope Harris introduced her staff of managers. And WaWa mascot Wally Goose had a great time meeting everyone who came.
