NORTH WILDWOOD – On Wednesday, May 1 the Veterans of Foreign Wars North Wildwood Post 5941 will host a ceremony to honor current and past military, as we demonstrate community support and appreciation for their sacrifice. As we raise the flag, sing our National Anthem, and recite the Pledge of Allegiance, we will reaffirm our allegiance to the USA.
North Wildwood Mayor Bill Henfey will address the crowd. VFW Commander Joe Orlando will explain the significance of Loyalty Day.
Please note that the time has been changed from earlier announcements. It will take place at 9 a.m. on the steps of North Wildwood City Hall, 901 Atlantic Ave. In the event of rain the ceremony will be moved inside Council Chambers behind City Hall.
