North Wildwood – The beaches of North Wildwood, NJ have added a new recreational activity for sea lovers, vacationers and residents to enjoy. In conjunction with Dean Randazzo of Jersey Devil Surf-shop, the City beach located at 2nd & JFK Blvd will be home to the City’s first ever Randazzo Surf Camp. A surf and water safety camp, Randazzo Surf Camp will be offering one day, three day and five day camp sessions throughout the 2015 summer season. All abilities are welcome to attend the camp to progress their surfing skill levels and to learn more about water safety.

Designed by Dean Randazzo, the surf program on North Wildwood’s beach will focus on safety, skills, balance, education, recreation, etiquette and fun! Dean Randazzo became a professional surfer in 1990 and was 1 of 44 surfers to qualify for the World Championship Tour in 1996. He is still to this day the only surfer from the State of New Jersey to make the World Tour, doing it all without a sponsorship. Dean’s experience, patience and skills to teach will help to guarantee progression.

“North Wildwood is very excited to welcome Dean Randazzo to our beach town.  Dean is literally a surfing legend and having him operate Surf and Water Safety Camp on our Surfing Beach is a great amenity for our residents and guests,” said Mayor Patrick Rosenello.
