The North Wildwood Police Department has issued a traffic advisory for the bicycle portion of the Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon being held in the City streets on Saturday, Aug. 16.
The race begins at 6:30 a.m. at 13th and JFK Blvd.
Here’s the route:
It proceeds on JFK Blvd. to 2nd Avenue; moves west on 2nd to Surf; then north on Surf to 1st; and then west on 1st to Central Avenue.
The course continues north on Central to Spruce; and west on Spruce to Anglesea Drive; they continue on Anglesea Drive to Route 147 where they turn right and follow Route 147 to South Carolina Ave. (Harbor Furniture).
There will be signage and detours set up along the route to assist motorists.
The foot race portion of the triathlon will not interfere with pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
