North Wildwood Beach Patrol Update:
Lifeguard coverage of North Wildwood beaches will resume on Saturday, Sept. 6th and Sunday, Sept. 7th. There will be NO lifeguard coverage Tuesday, Sept. 2nd through Friday, Sept. 5th. For further information, call 609-522-7500.

The event included a ¼ mile ocean swim, 5K run and 10 mile bike race. It started at 6:30a.m. with several hundred participants. It also had a kids swim/run event.

The North Wildwood Police Department has issued a traffic advisory for the bicycle portion of the Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon being held in the City streets on Saturday, Aug. 16.
The race begins at 6:30 a.m. at 13th and JFK Blvd.

The North Wildwood Fire Department recently upgraded the capabilities for providing water and beach related emergencies with the addition of two specially designed vehicles.
