The event included a ¼ mile ocean swim, 5K run and 10 mile bike race. It started at 6:30a.m. with several hundred participants. It also had a kids swim/run event.

The North Wildwood Police Department has issued a traffic advisory for the bicycle portion of the Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon being held in the City streets on Saturday, Aug. 16.

The race begins at 6:30 a.m. at 13th and JFK Blvd.

North Wildwood’s Credit Rating Raised

NORTH WILDWOOD–In a letter dated July 3, 2014, Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services (S&P) announced that it has raised this City’s credit rating from “A+” to “AA-” while affirming the stable outlook.

This is especially impressive since S&P is one of the “big three” credit rating agencies (CRAs), along with Fitch and Moody’s.
